All in for Roatan

Since the day I posted on social media a photo of myself and my desire to become the next mayor of Roatan, a lot of great things have occurred, many many blessings. I have received so much great and positive feedback, so many have contacted me wishing me best for this endeavor and boundless and greatest encouragement to press on forward. 

Many productive and Positive conversations have ensued, incredible ideas have sprouted from several who are truly concerned about the current decaying and stagnant situation of the islands and its uncertain future. Political parties have reached out proposing their platforms and more and more blessings.....

I am so humbled and thankful for this outpouring of support. This is not an endeavor for self-satisfaction or to post look good photos on billboards or for pursuing any selfish agenda for personal gain. 

I AM ALL IN FOR THIS, FOR ROATAN! I am doing this with all my heart, mind, and soul.  I humbly desire to serve the island and its people for the rest of my life. 

In 2013, I put my mind to the idea of serving the community that has given me so much, everything that I am. Thanks to Roatan and it’s people, my people, the purpose of my life is clear.  All I do and have done and continue to do since then is with the objective of serving my people, by further educating myself, further developing social consciousness and awareness, getting further involved within the culture of the Bay Islands as a Garifuna, honoring and embracing my cultural and spiritual roots. This is where I come from, where my ancestors finally settled as a free man from the ravages of colonialists.

I am one of you, we share the same feelings and same piece of a jewel of paradise called Roatan, our eternal home. I ask you to please believe in me as I believe in you so selflessly to make of these islands a better place for future generations to come. I have prepared myself for the task ahead and destiny has shown put me straight in this pathway.  Together we can do it right. RIGHT FOR ALL OF US!
